Brittany session

PITCH

“Cybersecurity : the french regions at the forefront of this European issue”

Cybersecurity has become an essential component of state sovereignty, the sustainability of business development, and the security of citizens. The deployment of digital tools in daily life brings benefits but has made us more vulnerable to cyber attacks. ANSSI's 2023 threat panorama highlights the continued increase in IT threats, in a context marked by new geopolitical tensions.

It is the role of public authorities to support users' awareness of this cyber risk, help them protect themselves against it and support the development of a French cybersecurity sector.

The Brittany Region's morning will be devoted to presenting the role of the Regions and sub-regional communities in strengthening a more secure digital world, through two round tables:

  • 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.: “Regions: driving force for the development of cybersecurity”.

Several French Regions will share their vision and the role of the regional level as a driver of a policy serving a safer digital society.

  • 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.: “Bretagne Cyber Alliance to unite the ecosystem for a safer digital world”.

The Region and the 5 sub-regional communities, Brest, Lannion, Lorient, Rennes and Vannes, will present the concrete actions of the Cyber Alliance in the territories serving this ambition
