Description
Cédric Gouy-Pailler is Research Director at CEA and head of the Laboratoire Instrumentation Intelligente Distribuée et Embarquée (LIIDE). He received his Ph.D. in Signal Processing from GIPSA-lab, Grenoble, in 2009, and joined CEA in 2010 after a postdoctoral fellowship at Université Paris-Sud. His research focuses on privacy-preserving and trustworthy machine learning, with contributions in federated and decentralized learning, differential privacy, homomorphic encryption, and adversarial robustness. He coordinates KINAITICS (Horizon Europe project on AI robustness and cybersecurity), REDEEM (PEPR IA on resilient decentralized learning), and contributes to COMPROMIS (PEPR Cybersecurity) and STARLIGHT (H2020).
